Prawn can go well easily with any kind ofvegetables. It has a wonderful flavor which boosts the flavor of any kind of recipe.In any vegetable dishes just add prawns, it will make an amazing recipe, like chingri lal shaak, lao pepe chingri, puishaak diye chingri, kochu diye chingri. Today I will make purple cabbage prawn added with potato and fresh green peas.
Clean and wash the prawns, rub with salt and turmeric powder,and cut the washed cabbage
Heat the mustard oil in a wok, when the oil gets smoky, then addthe prawns, and fry them till they changed their color. Take them out of thepan and keep them in a plate.
Now take a frying pan, heat oil, throw some panchforon anddry chili to temper.
As they splutter and sizzle add thepotato cubes and fry it for 2-3 minutes then add ginger-garlic paste and cook it for 2 minutes.
Now add the shredded purple cabbageand just stir it for 2 minutes.
Add tomatoes, green peas followed byall spices powder .e.g. turmeric, red chili and cumin.
Mix well and cover the lid; allow itto cook for 10 minutes in low flame
After 10 minutes, open the lid and add prawns to the pan and,mix well and cover the pan, for 2 -3 minutes or till the potatoes arecompletely cooked.
Now turn the heat on high flame and stir fry them for 2-3minutes.
Take it out from the oven, transfer it to a serving plate,garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with rice.
