How To Make Ol Kopir Dalna
Today I will share step by step how to make Ol Kopir Dalna / Salgam er Dalna / kohlrabi curry which a mild and delicious Bengali curry is madewith ol kopi and potato. In Bengali dalna means thick gravy of made withseasonal vegetables.

Instructions
Clean and wash 4 potatoes and put them in a pressure cookerand go for one whistle
Take 2 ol washed kopi and cut them in big pieces
Put them in a pressure cooker and go for one whistle inmedium flame
Now open the lid of the pressure cooker and check thekohlrabi and potatoes, and then peel them
Heat oil in a kadai, and add the cumin seeds and bay leavesfor tempering
Add the boiled potatoes, and fry them for a minute
Once fried, and then take out from the oil
Now add the boiled kohlrabi, fry them for a minute
And take them out from the pan
Add chopped onion and fry them till they become translucent
Add ginger and garlic smashed in mortar and pestle andsauté them for a minute
Add all the spices .i.e. turmeric powder, red chili powder,roasted cumin powder and garam masala
Sauté them nicely, till the raw smell of the spices goes off
Add chopped tomato, and then add salt to melt the tomato fast
Now add the boiled potatoes and kohlrabi and mix them withthe gravy
Add half cup of water and mix them well
Cover the and allow them to cook for 5-6 minutes in mediumflame
Open the lid and mix them once
Then spread chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with riceor paratha
