Tempting Aam Pora Dal
Today I will share how to make Tempting Aam Pora Dal /Roasted Mango dal, which is different from popular Bengali aam dal. It is madewith roasted mango, tur and chana dal (pigeon peas and chickpea lentils) andother spices.

Instructions
Takea roasting net, and roast a mango
Peelit nicely
Nowtake out the pulp from the mango and put them into the blender jar and make asmooth paste
Takea pressure cooker, then add half cup of tur dal and chana dal
Addwater, baking soda and salt
Thenadd cinnamon. Cardamom and star anise cover it and go for 2 whistles to boilthe dal nicely
Heatghee in a pan
Thenadd red chili and cumin for tempering, add chopped garlic and sauté them for aminute
Addchopped onion and stir them for 3-4 minutes, or till they become translucent
Nowadd all the powder spices and stir them continuously till the raw smell goesoff
Addroasted mango pulp (1/2 cup)
Stirthem for a minute
Nowadd the boiled dal and mix them well, and cook for another 2 minutes
Addchopped coriander leaves
Transferthem to a serving bowl and serve hot with rice or roti.
