First, clean and wash the fish. Make three to four deepcut in both the sides of the fish.
Add 1/2 tsp of salt, 1/2 tsp of chilli powder and 1/2 tsp of turmeric powder, ginger-garlicpaste, curd and besan/gram flour thoroughly and keep it for 10-15 minutes.
Take a hard bottomed pan, heat oil at the smoking point and slowly place the fish and fry it one side for 3-4 minutes , then flip to other side very carefully and same way fry for 3 minutes.
Now take it out from pan and serve with steamed rice and dal.
