Today I will share how to make Boiled Jackfruit Seeds CurryRecipe/ Kochu data diye kathal er bichi r Recipe, which is very delectable andgoes well with hot piping rice and dal. While tender jackfruit (enchore) seedsare very soft; while cooking, it melts very easily; but the ripped jackfruitseeds very are hard and can be used in Indian curry recipes by adding othervegetables and spices, you can also cook it with prawn.
Wash the seeds and put them in pressure cooker, add waterand go for 1 whistle
Meanwhile cut the data (katwa data) into 1 inch size
Cut the taro/kochu in the length wise; wash both of themthoroughly
Heat oil in a kadai, and then add garlic cloves and redchili
As they splutter and sizzle, add the curry-cut veggies, and sautéthem for 20seconds
Now add ginger paste and stir them for 10-15 seconds
Make ready all the spices (turmeric powder, red chili powderand cumin –coriander powder) in a plate and add in the veggies, and stir them untilthe raw smell goes off
Now add the boiled jackfruit seeds (after taking out theskin), and mix them well
Add sugar, followed by roasted coconut-red chili powder, andmix them well
Add 2 cups of water, and allow them to cook for 5 minutes,in medium flame
Turn off the flame; sprinkle chopped coriander leaves
Transfer them to a serving plate and serve hot with rice.
