Instructions
Clean and wash the fruits
Cut them into thin slices, as that they looked like stars
Heat oil in a pan, and add the mustard seeds, curry leavesand whole red chili for tempering
As they splutter and sizzle add 2 cups of water
Now add salt, sugar and turmeric powder and mix them well
Add the slices of star fruit and mix them
Now add the raisins/kishmish and allow them to cook on high flame for 3-4 minutes oruntill the pickle becomes thick
When it becomes thick, turn off the flame
Tranfer them to a serving plate and serve hot or preserve ithemfor 2 days in refrigerater and serve later on
