How to make healthy roti/Indian flat bread. Roti is unleavened (No leavening agent i.e. yeast, eggs, or baking powder or baking soda, is used.) bread that is made from whole wheat flour and water or may be a pinch of salt. The rounds are traditionally cooked on a hot flat tawa( griddle pan). (A round cast iron skillet can be a substitute!) Sometimes you may find street side roti finished over an open flame, which really makes a nice puffing. Here I am using curds and flux seeds to make roti much nutritious and softer which you can be use daily for better health.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups whole wheat flour
  • curd- ½ cup
