What are susni leaves; their common names are four-leaf clover; European water clover (US); sushi (India); aalaik keerai in Tamil It is known as Sushani shak or Sunsuni /Susni Shak to many in the village. Colander to wash the susni shak
Frying pan with lid
Spatula
The ingredients required for this recipe are
Susni/susuni shak: The day after plucking the leaves, it would turn yellow, so buy the same day, you are cooking
Cooking oil: Here I used mustard oil, but you can use any cooking oil
Other ingredients are onion, garlic, turmeric powder, panchphoron, red chili, and salt
Preparation
Wash red lentils/Masoor dal and put it in a pan, and allow it to boil (it will take 8-10 minutes) on medium flame
