Ingredients

  • Gobindobhog rice-1/3rd cup
  • Milk-750 ml
  • Sugar-1/4th cup
  • Cardamom whole-02
  • A pinch of cardamom powder
  • 8-9 strands of saffron (soaked in milk)
  • Few dry fruits

  • First soak Gobindobhog rice for an hour.
  • Discard the water and grind rice to course a paste and keep aside.
  • Take a hard bottomed pan and boil the milk, stir in between to avoid the burning smell.
  • Now add the course rice paste and Stir continuously for 5-6 minutes to avoid forming lumps.
  • Simmer it for another 8-10 minutes to boil the rice completely, stirring in between.
