How to make pomfret maach bhaja/pomfret fish fry
Pomfret is one of the tastiest fish in. Its skin is very smooth and oily, and is having very less tiny bones. It is not only a very tasty fish but also is a great source of calcium, vitamins A and Vitamin D, and B vitamins, and also Vitamin B12 which is good for nervous system. It is also rich in iodine, which is good for thyroid gland.

Ingredients
pomfret fish -2 medium
chilli powder-1/2 tsp
turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
Ginger-garlic paste-1/2 tsp
Curd-1/4th cup
Besan/gram flour-1 tsp
1/2 tsp coriander powder
oil -2tsp
Salt to taste
How to make pomfret maach bhaja/pomfret fish fry
First, clean and wash the fish. Make three to four deep cut in both the sides of the fish.
Add 1/2 tsp of salt, 1/2 tsp of chilli powder and 1/2 tsp of turmeric powder, ginger-garlic paste, curd and besan/gram flour thoroughly and keep it for 10-15 minutes.
Take a hard bottomed pan, heat oil at the smoking point and slowly place the fish and fry it one side for 3-4 minutes not more than that otherwise the food value will be lost, then flip to other side very carefully and same way fry for 3 minutes.
Now take it out from pan and serve with steamed rice and dal.
