Ingredients

pomfret fish -2 medium
chili powder-1/2 tsp
turmeric powder-1/2 tsp

Ginger-garlic paste-1/2 tsp

Curd-1/4th cup

Besan/gram flour-1 tsp
1/2 tsp coriander powder
oil -2tsp

Salt to taste

First, clean and wash the fish. Make three to four deep cuts on both sides of the fish.

Add 1/2 tsp of salt, 1/2 tsp of chili powder, and 1/2 tsp of turmeric powder, ginger-garlic paste, curd, and besan/gram flour thoroughly and keep it for 10-15 minutes. How to make pomfret maach bhaja

Take a hard bottomed pan, heat oil at the smoking point and slowly place the fish and fry it on one side for 3-4 minutes, then flip to the other side very carefully and same way fry for 3 minutes.
