Ingredients for Lahori chicken
- Chicken-500gm
- Oil-4 tbsp
- Onion-2
- Tomato-3
- Green chilies-6
- Coriander leaves
- Ginger-1 inch
- Curd-1/2 cup
- Ginger-garlic paste-2tbsp
- Peppercorn powder-1/2 tbsp
- cilantro leaves
- Chili flakes-1/2 tbsp
- Lemon-1
- Turmeric powder-1 tbsp
- Red chili powder-1/2 tbsp
- Coriander powder-1 tbsp
- Kasuri methi-1 tbsp
- Salt
How to Make Lahori Chicken
First, we clean and wash the chicken chunks for making Lahori chicken

Take a wok and heat 3-4 tbsp oil

Add the chicken chunks and fry in medium flame, it will take 7-8 minutes, once fried on one side then turn it over to another side.

Cut onions into medium pieces and put them in a grinder.

And make a fine paste by adding little water.

Take out the chicken chunks which are fried from the oil

Add the onion paste in the same oil and fry it till the water is fully dry and the color changes to light pink

When the onions are fried fully, then add the ginger-garlic paste, and sauté them till raw the smell goes off.

Now cut the tomatoes into small pieces

And add them, and sauté them so that they melt fast

When the tomato is melted, then add the turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt, stir them continuously and make sure the raw smell of the spices should go off

Now oil starts leaving from the gravy, add the fried chicken chunks and mix it well.

Add green chilies

Now add peppercorn powder, dry cilantro leaves, and Kasuri methi

Add chili flakes and mix them well

Now add yogurt and stir it continuously

Cover the lid and allow them to cook for 7-8 minutes on a low flame.

Open the cover, add some Julian ginger and coriander leaves

Now squeeze a lemon over it and mix it

Transfer it to a serving plate and serve hot with rice or roti.
