Restaurant style Paneer Butter Masala

Equipment used

  • Blender
  • Mixing bowl
  • Frying pan
  • Spatula

Ingredients

  • Paneer-200 gm
  • Tomato-3
  • Cashew nuts-12-14
  • Garlic cloves-5
  • Ginger-1/2 inch
  • Red chili powder-1 tbsp
  • Cumin powder-1 tbsp
  • Coriander powder-1 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder-1 tbsp
  • Kashmiri mirch powder-1/2 tbsp
  • Butter-2 tbsp
  • Bay leaf-1
  • Cinnamon stick-1/2 inch
  • Cardamom-1
  • Star anise-1
  • Onions-2(chopped)
  • Garam masala-1/2 tbsp
  • Cream-1 tbsp
  • Chopped coriander leaves-1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

How to make Restaurant style Paneer Butter Masala

Take a blender jar and add tomato, cashew nuts, garlic

Then add ginger, red chili powder, cumin powder, and coriander powder

Make a smooth paste

Now take a mixing bowl and add the paneer cubes, add turmeric powder, and cumin powder and mix them well

Take a frying pan and add ½ tbsp butter, and let it melt

Sauté the paneer cubes for 2 minutes

Now add the rest of the butter with little oil to avoid the burning in the same pan

Add grated garlic and sauté for 15 seconds

Add the whole spices with bay leaf and stir for a minute

Now add the chopped onions and stir them till they become translucent

Add turmeric powder, cumin, and Kashmiri mirch powder

Stir them till the raw smell of the spices goes off

Now add the tomato paste

Stir them continuously till the butter leaves the gravy

Now add 1 cup of water and add salt

Allow it to cook for two minutes on medium flame

Now add the fried paneer cubes and mix them well

  • 1/2 tbsp Garam masala
  • 1 tbsp cream
  • salt
  • 1 tbsp Chopped coriander leaves

Instructions

  • Make a smooth paste
  • Now take a mixing bowl and add the paneer cubes, addturmeric powder and cumin powder and mix them well
