Crispy Chire Bhaja Without oil / Fried Flattened Rice is tasty and can be easily prepared at home, with few ingredients. Make Crispy Chire Bhaja and store it; you can eat it anytime with tea or coffee. I am preparing this recipe without oil for health lovers; you can also prepare it with oil.

Equipment used
- Kadai
- Spatula
- Kitchen sieve
Ingredients
- Chire/ flatten rice-250 gm
- Salt-500 gm
- Pea nuts-100 gm
- Curry leaves-20
- Sev-50 gm
- Red chili-1-2
- Cumin-1/2 tbsp
How to make Crispy Chire Bhaja without oil / Fried Flattened Rice
Heat 500 gm salt in a big Kadai

When it became hot sufficiently, then add the chire/ flatten rice

Now roast the chire along with the hot salt for 5-6 minutes

You can check now, whether it becomes crispy or not
Now filter the chire from the salt with the help of a Kitchen sieve

Add 100 gm nuts in the same kadai, and roast them with the hot salt for 2-3 minutes

Now the cracking sound starts, which means it is cooked properly

Same way filter it with the help of a Kitchen sieve

Heat oil in a kadai and add cumin, red chili, and curry leaves for tempering

As they splutter and sizzle add the roasted chire and nuts and stir them for 2 minutes

You can check the crispiness of the flattened rice, by gripping them, and see if all are broken

Now add the sev and mix them well.

Transfer them to a serving plate and serve them with tea or coffee.
